Todd and Mike were extremely fast and efficient through the entire purchase process. Nothing was hidden. Financing was easy and attaining the vehicle was a joy. And I hate buying cars. I bought my '01 Honda Accord Sedan, 5 sp manual, in April '03 with 18,000 miles. Love my car! It has gone everywhere with me. Totally molded to me, steering wheel & seat ?? Drove from Norwich to Boston 5/6 days a week for 3 years. Eventually moved to Woburn, MA 10 miles north of Boston for 10 years and the past 4 1/2 have retired in the Lakes Region, NH. Drive monthly to CT to see my son. This baby has 487,000 miles on it and still going strong! This was the only car back in 2015? during the 33" snow storm in Boston that could get up & down the hills of Boston spending the entire day picking up & dropping off Nurses & CNA's for my nursing home. Now she's retired from running around daily but still kicks butt on back roads & the highway to get from NH to CT and back! Thank you TJ Motors for this Amazing Car!! They handled all the details of the trade in and purchase and the pick up two days later took less than a half hour. The car is perfect. Todd and JJ were awesome! I can't recommend this place enough.

It was perfect for us, beautiful, ran perfect, and our salesman wasn't pushy. Financing went easily, through our own credit union, and we're very happy with the vehicle so far. Only small complaint is that the owner wouldn't accept our BMW as a trade it because it's more of a Spring/Summer sale. So, now we have to sell it ourselves. Just an inconvenience is all. The important thing is we love the car, it's got a great warranty, and it looks beautiful.

So this dealership was the only one that was able to get me in a car with only 800 down. Mike worked his magic and got me in to a really nice 2018 jeep compass that was fully loaded with everything but navigation. But that's why we have a phone anyway right. TJ Motors Has Done a fantastic Job Again and Again ! My Wife and I purchased our 3rd Car From TJ Motors! The 2nd was about 3 years ago a 2016 Ford Escape which is loaded with all of the bells and whistles that my wife desired and has performed greatly and reliably - the Salesman whose name escapes me and Finance Manager Mike Kievites once again made the transaction pleasant, non-pressured and with a great extended warranty ! The 3rd car is a 2018 Ford EcoSport which we just purchased on September 12th, 2022 was even more of breeze as I had immediately sent our budget for down payment, monthly payment and extended warranty. Mike responded early that the car was still available. My wife had Window shopped the vehicle that weekend so she had her heart set on the car and expressed this to Mike over the phone. So at Mike's recommendation I did a pre-loan application. We stopped by to test drive, the car was everything my wife wanted perfect size, features, price, interest rate based on my improved credit and monthly payments with another great warranty and better yet, all of the paperwork was ready to be signed. I HATE going car shopping. Every time I went to a dealership, that's all I thought of. Then I went to TJ Motors at the recommendation of my daughter who recently bought a car there. I couldn't find a deal anywhere so I figured why not give it a shot. I pulled into the lot and met Todd. He greeted me with a smile and a handshake and it was nothing but a positive experience from then on. From selecting a car, filling out the financing paperwork, to driving off the lot with my 2018 Hyundai Tocson, the entire process took a day and a half. Met Todd on a Monday, dealt with Mike (I signed all th paperwork with him, great guy, great Grandpa, lol) on Tues and that was it...drove off in my new ride. The car has low miles and the price was right. One good thing was there were multiple cars there that fit what I was looking for. Great selection. Thanks to Todd and Mike for changing my outlook on car shopping. I will be back next time I need a car. And thanks to my daughter Katie for the recommendation. Lol

Long story, short—I give these guys 5 stars. I found them online looking for a specific vehicle (2017 Ford Edge). They were top notch in my experience of sales folks out there. Can't say I've ever stepped foot into TJ's but I do drive by it every day on my way to work for the last 15 years. That property is kept in tip top shape. Almost daily I see a gentleman (the owner?) outside sweeping the sidewalk, picking up trash or always doing some sort of upkeep. The lot is always full and the cars are always clean. If they ever have a car I'm interested I wouldn't hesitate to check them out. Anyone who takes pride in the appearance of their business like that gets kudos from me.

After ordering a car from an online dealer and being very disappointed with multiple cosmetic issues that did not show up in the pictures online, I called TJ Motors and spoke to Jeff about a 2015 VW Tiguan they had on their lot. I asked specific questions to Jeff about the car as I am an hour away. Jeff took time to go out and check the vehicle for me and called me back in 15 mins with the answers to my questions. Later that afternoon I went to TJ and three days later drove the car home. Thanks again Jeff, Todd, and the rest of the TJ crew. It was worth the ride and I would recommend your dealership to anyone.

AMAZING Customer Service
This dealership has outstanding customer service. After a month of searching for cars, and dealing with some extremely rude and pushy dealers, I decided to stop at this place. They weren’t pushy, allowed me to take my time, and talked me through all the options. Very up front, and thankfully not sketchy in the slightest. In addition, they handpick their cars, and it shows. These guys at Tj Motors are incredible. After hearing from a friend awhile back that they're the right place to go, I received a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta back end of september. The deal was smooth, quick, and the car was clean and exactly what I wanted. After a recent accident and my car being a loss, I had to go back to them. I commute an hour to work and made it appoint I needed a car asap. Between Jeff and Terry, and Terry on my first deal, they worked with me to the best of their ability and got me into a vehicle pretty much with in 24 hours. Jeff wouldn't take any less than the best he could do for me as an answer and really showed his talent on this deal! This is not my first time buying a car from TJ Motors, which is probably the best endorsement I could give. If you’re like me and hate the car-buying experience (I always feel as though I’m being circled by sharks), then you’ll be happy to know that this dealership is not like that at all. My husband and I went to look at cars while the dealership was closed, and then the next day we were very pressed for time, so my husband called and told Terry which cars we were interested in, and by the time we arrived, all of the cars we wanted to drive were pulled up so they were accessible. We were able to test drive all of them in the little amount of time we had. We decided on a car that we loved, and the next day, Terry brought it to my husband at work because we were unable to pick it up. Terry definitely went above and beyond, even helping us with things that weren’t really part of his job. Everyone at TJ Motors did not try to get me into a car. This is the perfect approach for a used car dealer. They listened to my situation and took time to understand what I needed. Our first trip to them they were very open about financing and didn’t play the games other used dealers play. It turned out they didn’t have anything for us that day. They DID NOT try and talk me into anything they did have at that time. A few weeks later, and after a million headaches at other dealers, a perfect car showed up at TJ Motors. They took care of all the hard work for us over the phone. All I had to do was come in and test drive the car. When I decided I loved it, I came back the next morning and signed and drove away. I went online to specifically look at their reviews before moving forward with any purchase and they’re excellent. Within 5 days I was able to purchase a pre owned vehicle. Jeff and Terry kept it straightforward and made sure I wasn’t getting into a deal I wouldn’t be able to afford in the long run. I never felt pressured and when you look at their inventory, you can tell that the owner Todd does a great job with choosing nothing but the best vehicles to sell. Quality service: I dealt with TJ Motors just after turning in a rental car. I received a good quality 2009 model used car for a very reasonable price the same day. After the test drive, I went through the paperwork in half the time it took to get insurance on the car and drove out of there less than 3 hours total, insurance and all, after arriving.

I must tell you, the experience my wife and I had at TJ Motors was sensational and well worth it. Most people think, including myself, pre-owned or used car sales people are not trust worthy. That you are always second guessing their word. This was not the case at TJ Motors. I trusted him. I went to TJ Motors to look at what they had available. I was interested in one particular vehicle on the lot, however it was not available any longer as someone else had placed a deposit on it. After that, I let Terry know what type of vehicle I was interested in and he would keep his eyes open for me. After a few days, the vehicle I was originally interested in became available again. Terry called me and the deal was done in two days. Great people, great experience.

Feb 8, 2017: I had the best car buying experience ! I got the car I wanted (practically new 2014 Nissan Sentra with very low miles in mint condition), at the price I wanted, plus affordable financing (well below my budget expectation) with a lower interest rate than my previous auto purchases & a fantastic warranty that I did not expect. Salesman/Finance Manager Mike Kievits was very personable, patient & did not once try to sell me a car that I did not ask to test drive. That is the true meaning of no pressure sales plus he did not ask me to accept a lesser car due to my credit situation. He kept his word, worked hard to get me financed & I was able to drive home my newly purchased vehicle the same day. They even took my junker car off my hands & applied a credit to my down payment. Terry helped my husband and I pick out my car. I'm in love with it and the price was great. They were very friendly and made sure we were able to walk out of there with keys, car, and license plate in the same day. When my AC started acting up I brought it back and they fixed it within a couple hours and was really free (due to the warranty we got on it) no hidden charges or them trying to get more money like other places I had been too. An overall great experience and will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know who needs a car.

Simply amazing! I was searching to replace my Jeep that I had owned for a few years. I started my search at a few of the larger dealerships and found them to be expensive. A friend of mine recently purchased a vehicle from TJ Motors and she was happy with the price and quality of her car, so I looked on their website and saw a 2013 Jeep Compass that had low mileage, made an appointment to look at it , and it was spotless! The entire staff from the owner Todd to Mike in financing were fantastic! I know I saved a lot of money buying this Jeep from TJ Motors. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Great experience! Nice little car that I can afford. It was my first time buying a car in 12 years! Terry Eames was great to work with. They have an excellent website and you can apply for financing online, so most of the work was done when I got there. I would absolutely recommend them if you're looking for a good used car.

My sister has bought 2 cars from this establishment so we came here as a first stop on the search for my new car. On the first visit we didn't find anything in my price comfort zone but the customer service from the owner Todd and his associates went above and beyond. He called the next day to let me know he found a car right up my ally and right in my budget. It's a sharp clean 2011 Hyundai Accent and I loved it at first sight! Within just a couple of hours after test driving it, I owned my car now known fondly as 'Independence 2.0' and I give so many thanks to Todd and his team for making it an easy and stress free process getting me back on the road and back to my 'Independence.'

Best dealer, Best people, Best service, PERIOD.
My family and I have purchased several vehicles from TJ Motors in the past few years, and we have never been disappointed in any way. The guys are very courteous, very knowledgeable, and really know their stuff, they will always be our car guy's. TJ Motors word is as good as gold. We have never had any kind of problems. When we pick up a car it is exactly as advertised. Recently i was looking for a specific vehicle but unfortunately TJ didn't have what I needed. I found the vehicle at a private owner and Todd Blonder was unbelievably awesome!! he assisted me with getting the car checked out and he assisted me big time with info I needed to go get it registered, as well as guiding me to the right people to get some accessories. I cannot believe any other dealer would ever help like that and they didn't even make the sale!!!!!!!!!!! My family and I will be staying loyal to TJ whenever we are in the market for a vehicle. Just purchased my second car from TJ Motors and just like the first time....I got a great deal and it was a wonderful car buying experience. They get great cars! I just bought my second vehicle from TJ Motor. I have to say I enjoyed the process, which took about an hour or so. I talking about new plates, bank financing and out the door. Both of my vehicles were in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. TJ Motors had the vehicles I wanted at the price I wanted to spend. This was simply the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was looking for a specific type of car, a BMW convertible, and Todd took the time to not only find one for me but made sure that it was exactly to my specifications when I finally purchased it The price was outstanding and the service leading up to my purchase was impeccable. We recently had the opportunity to buy two cars from TJ Motors in a short amount of time. The first we found on the Internet through their web sight. When seeing and driving the car it was exactly as we saw described on their web sight. We bought the car at a price fair to both us and Todd at TJ Motors. Unfortunately, the car was totaled in an accident shortly after purchase. That was when we went back to Todd at TJ Motors to help us find a replacement car. He searched using our parameters and found another car that fulfilled our needs and again at a very fair deal. His desire to only buy cars that meets his high standards was obvious during these two transaction and provided us with a sense of comfort knowing to his best ability we were getting a quality used car. I drove by TJ Motors almost by accident but saw my dream car- a Mercedes Benz ML 350. Imagine my surprise when I looked it up and found that not only was it a beautifully and meticulously maintained, but it was incredibly reasonably priced as well. I bought it the next day. This was the second car I have bought from TJ Motors and have had incredibly easy and enjoyable purchasing experience. Todd and Reggie are helpful and honest and a delight to work with so I won't hesitate to return there for my next car!

This past week I bought a 2010 Honda Insight at TJ Motors. I can't emphasize enough how helpful the sales team there is. A few weeks back I had given them some direction about my driving needs. They gave it some thought and nailed it. I test drove the vehicle and in 15 minutes knew it was perfect. Got a great deal on a bumper to bumper 100K warrantee as well. The paperwork and DMV process was flawless. They did it all and I didn't have to set foot anywhere except on the pedal.

Having owned several SUV's, I've found the Dodge Durango as being the most-reliable. I've purchased two over the last several years and use them for what they're made for. With my latest '03 approaching 200,000 miles, I went on the hunt for a replacement. Not being fond of the body style after '03, I figured I'd have to settle for a unit not more than 5 years old if I was to find one with low mileage. When I came across a pristine '03 on your lot with only 62,000 miles, the decision was a no-brainer. For far less than $10K, I'm now driving EXACTLY what I wanted. That's a great feeling! By far, this is the best purchase I've made since the '01 Lumina I bought from TJ several years ago (now in the hands of a family member) that's still on the road today running like a champ. Honesty and Integrity
I found the car I was looking for at TJ Motors, but didn't know anything about the dealership. I was upgrading to a 2009 Infinity G37, and I found the people there are clearly interested in providing old fashioned service and integrity during the sales process. It was simple and easy, and I felt great about the transaction - primarily because of transparency and the personalities involved. It was easy to trust them and have a win win experience there. The owner is great, the small team is great, and the car has been great. I highly recommend them.

This is the place to go
Because it's a small company you don't have to work through the layers of management like you do at the large dealerships. If you know what you want and what you want to pay for it, then this is the place to go. I had been looking around for a late model BMW for a month, scouring dealer web sites and going to the local BMW dealer and Inskip BMW in Warwick, calling and emailing dealers in New Haven and Hartford and was tired of the usual game playing.TJ Motors has a decent selection of VERY nice cars... Because it's a small company you don't have to work through the layers of management like you do at the large dealerships to get the final price and more importantly, because of their small size, they don't have to make the same profit on each car they move so the bottom line is you save money. My dealings with them (all two meetings) were low pressure affairs...if you do your homework and are honest with them about what you want to pay and can be a little flexible, they in turn will be flexible back - after all, they are in the business to sell cars. They arranged financing that afternoon and gave me a better rate than either Navy Federal or USAA. To sum up my experience with TJ Motors - Everything went very smooth and there were no last minute surprises just before you sign the papers. I walked away feeling I got a very good deal on a nice car. Don't think anyone can ask for more than that when buying a used car!
